Dressage
Rebecca Bastianelli is a lifelong rider, beginning with lessons as a child at an Arabian breeding farm, continuing with some Western lessons, competitive and recreational trail riding, hunter jumper lessons, and finally finding her true passion in dressage.
Rebecca is also a lifelong teacher, with many years of tutoring experience and 15 years as a public school teacher, primarily middle school math and science but also some preschool and lower elementary experience.
Rebecca draws on this professional experience in the art of teaching dressage to horse and rider. Rebecca has earned her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals and halfway to her Gold Medal on horses she trained including her Arabian she trained from Training Level through FEI, currently schooling all the Grand Prix. She completed the USDF learner judge’s program as an L graduate and has judged dressage and Western dressage at schooling shows.
Rebecca prepares her horses and riders mentally and physically for the show ring but also emphasizes attention to detail in all aspects of daily care and management with a focus on correct biomechanics for horse and rider, and work in and out of the saddle that develops the partnership between horse and rider.
Rebecca enjoys working with horses and riders of all ages and ability levels, she is a master at finding the right approach to ensure progress while enjoying the journey.
